I’m inclined to say his outfit is more devil-like than bat. And I am most curious as to the acrobatic wonders this gent must have performed.

Or is she tired of his arrogance and is stirring some poison into his cup of Earl Grey?

When I looked at this, I immediately imagined a large “VS.” in between these distinguished ladies, and then a crisp dignified voice shouting out “Fight!!”
