When I was a kid, I wanted to be an astronaut, a detective, and an archaeologist.

Now somewhat older, I find myself wanting to be a Veritech or Viper pilot, an ocarina-playing, puzzle-solving adventurer, a rogue wielding the sharpest of blades when facing dragons, a vanguard brokering peace, protecting her friends, and maybe, just maybe, saving the galaxy.

If there’s anything the years have given me, it’s the ability to be a little more specific in my ambitions. ^_^

I’ve discovered that when I’m trying to perk myself up, I hum the Legend of Zelda theme

Loudly. And I may or may not inject dramatic hand gestures.

…there’s just a lot of awe and want. And the urge to go grab my pillow and a blanket and just settle in.

Classic Ads: Star Wars (1983)
The game is available as a standard upright or a sit-down cockpit version, both of which are elaborately decorated. It features several digitized samples of voices from the movie, including Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Alec Guinness as Obi-Wan Kenobi, James Earl Jones as Darth Vader, Harrison Ford as Han Solo, the mechanized beeps of R2-D2, and the growls of Chewbacca. Friend:I never wanted to be a princess when I was little.
Me:Same here. I wanted to be Han Solo.
Friend:You always say that! Didn't you want to be something else?
Me:*mulling*
Me:Indiana Jones.
